Ucayali: BAP Curaray inició tercera campaña social para atender a comunidades nativas de Coronel Portillo
- Servicios de Devida y Defensa Pública se suman a las atenciones médicas y sociales, que se brindarán hasta el 25 de setiembre.
Con el compromiso fijado a inicios de año, la tripulación del BAP Curaray, embarcación gestionada por el Programa Nacional PAIS del Ministerio de Desarrollo e Inclusión Social (Midis), inició su tercera campaña fluvial para llevar los servicios del Estado a 24 comunidades nativas en la provincia de Coronel Portillo.
En esta nueva travesía, que durará hasta el 25 de setiembre, navegarán por los distritos de Iparia, Masisea, Manantay y Yarinacocha, para atender a 2300 personas y brindarles servicios médicos, sociales y financieros, que contribuyan a mejorar su vida en la cuenca del río Ucayali.
Las charlas de prevención del consumo de drogas de Devida, junto con la asesoría legal gratuita y la orientación frente a casos de violencia de la Defensa Pública, son los nuevos servicios que se suman en esta nueva campaña, en la que también participan el Reniec, Banco de la Nación, la Red Integrada de Salud y el Ministerio de Cultura.
En cada comunidad a la que arriben, brindarán servicios especializados en medicina general, enfermería, obstetricia, odontología, pruebas de laboratorio y la entrega de medicamentos a la población. También los trámites del documento de identidad, la entrega de los mismos y la inscripción de recién nacidos.
Respecto a las atenciones financieras, las personas tendrán la posibilidad de realizar depósitos, retiros y transferencias a bordo del BAP Curaray, así como también se realizará la entrega de tarjetas de débito y la afiliación a la banca celular. Se prevé realizar, en total, más de 19 000 atenciones que contarán con el apoyo de intérpretes en lenguas originarias.
“Renovando el compromiso del Gobierno de llegar a las zonas de más difícil acceso, se realiza esta tercera campaña en coordinación con la Marina de Guerra para que nuestros compatriotas en Coronel Portillo puedan ejercer su derecho de acceder a los servicios que necesitan para salir adelante”, indicó Jacksson Villaorduña, coordinador del Programa PAIS en Ucayali.
La tercera campaña itinerante del BAP Curaray, forma parte de las acciones que las Plataformas Itinerantes de Acción Social – PIAS realizan en Ucayali, Loreto y Puno, de la mano con la Marina de Guerra del Perú, entidades de salud, el Reniec, SIS y diversos programas sociales.
