Tambo Costa Rica y el Gore San Martín fortalecen valores de respeto e igualdad en estudiantes de la región
- En el marco del Día de la Convivencia en Paz, el programa PAIS y la DRIEIO promueven talleres sobre igualdad, convivencia saludable y prevención de la violencia.
“Ahora entendemos que todos merecemos respeto y que podemos ayudar a que en nuestra escuela haya más igualdad y menos violencia”, cuenta Delia, estudiante de cuarto de secundaria y participante del taller sobre derechos, igualdad entre hombres y mujeres y prevención de la violencia, promovido por el programa nacional PAIS del Ministerio de Desarrollo e Inclusión Social, junto con la Dirección Regional de Inclusión e Igualdad de Oportunidades (DRIEIO) del Gobierno Regional de San Martín.
La jornada, desarrollada en el marco del Día Internacional de la Convivencia en Paz, congregó en el Tambo Costa Rica a aproximadamente 60 estudiantes de la Institución Educativa N.° 0444 Juan Pablo II, de la comunidad del mismo nombre, quienes participaron en espacios de aprendizaje y reflexión orientados a construir relaciones más igualitarias, respetuosas y libres de violencia.
Especialistas y profesionales de Gobierno Regional de San Martín desarrollaron estas actividades con el objetivo de fortalecer el liderazgo juvenil, promoviendo que las y los estudiantes se conviertan en agentes de cambio y contribuyan a generar entornos más inclusivos, seguros y solidarios en sus comunidades.
“El taller me ayudó a entender por qué hombres y mujeres tenemos los mismos derechos. Tenemos derecho a jugar, a hablar y a divertirnos, pero sin hacer daño, gritar o quitarles la tranquilidad a los demás”, comentó Elmer, estudiante de 15 años.
Cabe precisar que estos talleres también se desarrollarán en los Tambos Santa Rosa de Mishollo, Nuevo San Martín y Dos de Mayo, acercando espacios de orientación y fortalecimiento de capacidades a adolescentes de zonas rurales y de difícil acceso de la región San Martín.
Con estas acciones, el programa nacional PAIS reafirma su compromiso de seguir articulando esfuerzos con las instituciones públicas para fortalecer capacidades y generar mayores oportunidades de desarrollo para las y los adolescentes de las comunidades rurales de la región.
