Minsa implementa nuevo consultorio de Odontopediatría que beneficiará a más de 4000 niñas y niños de Comas
Dirección de Salud Bucal del Minsa y Diris Lima Norte articulan esfuerzos para fortalecer la atención especializada en población infantil de la jurisdicción.
Con el objetivo de fortalecer la atención especializada de los servicios odontológicos y brindar una atención de calidad a la población infantil del distrito de Comas, el Ministerio de Salud (Minsa), a través de la Dirección de Salud Bucal destacó la implementación del Consultorio Diferenciado de Odontopediatría, en el Centro Materno Infantil (CMI) Santa Luzmila II.
La implementación del espacio estuvo a cargo de la Dirección de Redes Integradas de Salud (Diris) Lima Norte y la Red Integrada de Salud (RIS) Comas, y que logrará beneficiar a una población aproximada de 4700 niñas y niños pertenecientes al CMI Santa Luzmila II y pacientes pediátricos referidos de otros establecimientos de salud que no cuentan con especialistas en Odontopediatría.
Este nuevo servicio contribuye al acceso oportuno a un paquete de procedimientos odontológicos preventivos como parte de la política de prevención que el Minsa promueve.
El evento de inauguración contó con la asistencia de la directora de Salud Bucal del Minsa quien, en representación del ministro de Salud, Juan Velasco Guerrero destacó la importancia de promover estrategias preventivas y humanizadas. Además, se contó con la asistencia de representantes de la Diris Lima Norte.
“Fortalecer los servicios de odontopediatría significa invertir en salud y bienestar de nuestras niñas y niños. El Minsa promueve estrategias que permiten brindar una atención preventiva, humanizada y de calidad, contribuyendo a reducir la carga de enfermedades bucales desde los primeros años de vida”, precisó Raquel Molfino, directora de Salud Bucal.
El Minsa reafirma su compromiso de continuar trabajando con las Direcciones de Redes Integradas de Salud, direcciones y gerencias regionales de salud con el objetivo de fortalecer la atención estomatológica en todo el país y promover servicios oportunos, accesibles y centrados en las necesidades de la población infantil.
