Midis: hidroavión de PIAS aérea lleva servicios médicos y sociales a más de 600 personas de comunidades del pueblo Achuar en Loreto
Se inició la tercera campaña de la PIAS aérea que brindará más de 9000 atenciones gratuitas del Estado en Pucacuro y comunidades aledañas Achuar de difícil acceso de la Amazonía.
Más de 600 personas de la comunidad nativa de Pucacuro y de las comunidades aledañas Peruanitos, San Ramón y Dos de Mayo, perteneciente al pueblo Achuar, en el distrito de Trompeteros, provincia y región de Loreto, acceden a servicios médicos, prestaciones sociales y diversos servicios del Estado, como parte de la tercera campaña aérea de la Plataforma Itinerante de Acción Social (PIAS) en Loreto, gestionada por el programa PAIS del Ministerio de Desarrollo e Inclusión Social (Midis).
Para hacer posible esta intervención, un hidroavión de la Fuerza Aérea del Perú traslada a cada punto de atención en las comunidades priorizadas a los profesionales y equipos del Instituto Nacional de Salud del Niño de San Borja, Banco de la Nación, Reniec, el servicio Juguemos, el programa Juntos e intérpretes del ministerio de Cultura.
De esta manera, el personal del Estado brindará más de 9000 atenciones médicas y sociales gratuitas como los servicios de pediatría y psicología infantil, charlas de prevención de la violencia familiar, trámites relacionados con el Documento Nacional de Identidad (DNI), inscripción de actas de nacimiento, servicios financieros, actualización de la clasificación socioeconómica y el pago de subvenciones económicas de Pensión 65, Juntos y Contigo.
En el marco de esta jornada, el viceministro de Prestaciones Sociales del Midis, Alejandro Afuso, llegó hasta la comunidad nativa de Pucacuro, ubicada en el distrito de Trompeteros, acompañado por los congresistas loretanos Juan Carlos del Águila y Nari Pinasco, el director ejecutivo del programa PAIS, Manuel Pachas, y autoridades locales, para supervisar la atención a la población y verificar la articulación de las entidades que participan en esta intervención.
“Hemos brindado servicios a las poblaciones más olvidadas y alejadas de la Amazonía, y nos llevamos sus preocupaciones para atender sus necesidades. El trabajo conjunto del Midis con las Fuerzas Armadas y entidades del Estado sirve para acercar los servicios a las poblaciones con mayor vulnerabilidad”, señaló el viceministro Afuso Higa.
Cabe anotar que la tercera campaña de PIAS aérea en Loreto recorrerá ocho puntos de atención ubicados en las provincias de Datem del Marañón, Loreto, Putumayo y Requena, donde se proyecta atender a más de 8000 personas.
Desarrollo infantil temprano
El viceministro Alejandro Afuso también acudió al Centro Infantil de Atención Integral “Las Mercedes II” del programa Cuna Más, donde 44 niñas y niños menores de 36 meses reciben atención integral en ambientes renovados y equipados.
Asimismo, en su visita a Iquitos, el viceministro Afuso Higa se reunió con representantes del Fondo de las Naciones Unidas para la Infancia (UNICEF), para fortalecer la articulación de acciones orientadas a mejorar las condiciones de vida de niñas, niños y adolescentes en Loreto. Durante el encuentro se abordaron principalmente las estrategias de preparación y respuesta ante el Fenómeno El Niño, con énfasis en la protección de la niñez y de los grupos vulnerables, así como las acciones para la prevención y reducción de la anemia materno infantil, ámbitos en los que UNICEF brinda asistencia técnica y apoyo al Gobierno Regional de Loreto y otras entidades públicas.
