El Centro de Desarrollo Editorial reedita libro Prontuario de instrucción militar, de Mariano Bolognesi
- El texto fue redactado en 1864, cuando Bolognesi ejercía la jefatura del cuartel de las Guardias Nacionales del Callao.
- El libro será presentado el jueves 10 de abril en el Centro Cultural de la Universidad de Piura a las 19:00 horas.
Durante distintos periodos de la humanidad, las naciones han tenido la imperante necesidad de organizarse para enfrentar guerras. Del mismo modo surgió también la obligación de respetar ciertos valores esenciales en la milicia, como el honor, la disciplina, la valentía y el amor por la patria. Estos principios dieron forma a lo que hoy se conoce como ejército organizado.
Estos conceptos, que configuran un legado de incalculable valor castrense, fueron reunidos por Mariano Bolognesi Cervantes —hermano de Francisco Bolognesi, patrono del Ejército del Perú— en 1864 y reunidos en Prontuario de instrucción militar, un tratado que aborda los reglamentos, tácticas y ordenanzas aplicables a cada rango militar.
Durante la Guerra del Pacífico, Mariano Bolognesi publicó este libro —junto con Máximas, consejos e instrucciones sobre el arte de la guerra (Centro de Desarrollo Editorial, 2021)— con el objetivo de instruir a los jóvenes que se enrolaron en el Ejército. Sin embargo, el gobierno de Nicolás de Piérola censuró dichas obras.
Es así que, a 161 años de su primera edición, el Centro de Desarrollo Editorial reedita este libro imprescindible, que es el resultado del rescate del investigador y documentalista Luis Enrique Cam, el cual se inscribe dentro de la vasta tradición de formación militar universal.
Prontuario de instrucción militar será presentado este jueves 10 de abril en el Centro Cultural de la Universidad de Piura (Coronel Inclán 120, Miraflores) a las 7:00 p.m.
A cargo de la presentación estarán Luis Enrique Cam; Juan Urbano Revilla, general de brigada del Ejército del Perú; y Mamie Raguz Bolognesi, tataranieta de Francisco y Mariano Bolognesi. El ingreso es libre.
