Cholo Chicha: banda peruana gana premio en España
- El premio AIE al mejor intérprete participación del artista o grupo en el 1º ciclo de AIEnruta Artistas 2026, los llevará de gira por España.
- Tendrán gira por Bulgaria y le abrirán a Bareto en Barcelona, mientras graban su segundo disco.
Los Premios Rock Villa de Madrid son un evento anual que busca promover y apoyar a bandas emergentes. Los ganadores reciben importantes premios en metálico y otros en especies, que incluyen actuación en los conciertos de Radio 3 o la participación en el circuito AIEnruta Artistas.
Cholo Chicha es un grupo de cumbia fusión que mezcla chicha, rap, rock, reggae con una esencia latinoamericana de raíces andinas. Desde el 2017, la banda se viene presentado en diversos eventos con un gran poder de convocatoria en Barcelona, llenando locales y eventos públicos. Además, ha viajado por Europa para tocar en festivales de Italia, Francia, Suiza, Irlanda, entre otros.
El grupo está formado por músicos que se conocieron en la ciudad de Barcelona (España), pero provienen de diferentes ciudades del mundo, con sus diversas realidades y matices. Este sincretismo musical brinda una propuesta innovadora, única y variopinta. Con una larga experiencia en folclore popular de Latinoamérica, su propuesta es netamente festiva y de compromiso social. Su primer disco se titula “CHOLO” y están preparando el segundo para 2025. Además, han compartido escenario con artistas como Bareto, Daniela Darcourt, Armonía 10, Dengue Dengue Dengue, Barrio Calavera, Hit La Rosa, Chapillacs, Cimarrones, Gavlyn, Gheto Khumbe, Herederos de Petrona Martinez, Kumbia Boruka, Balkumbia, Nkumba System, Gambeat, entre los principales.
