Piura: Fumigarán más de 35 000 viviendas para acabar con el zancudo transmisor del dengue los distritos de Sullana, Tambogrande y Lancones
Minsa exhorta a los líderes de familia permitir el ingreso del personal fumigador
Con el objetivo de acabar con el zancudo en su fase adulta o de vuelo y en respuesta a la operatividad de acciones ante el fenómeno El Niño, la Dirección Regional de Salud (Diresa) Piura, a través de la Sub Región de Salud Luciano Castillo Colonna estableció durante el mes de julio se realizará la campaña de fumigación en un total de 35 265 viviendas pertenecientes a los distritos de Sullana, Tambogrande y Lancones.
La campaña de fumigación de realiza en cumplimiento del “Plan de Prevención y Control del Dengue 2026” presentado por el Ministerio de Salud (Minsa). Las intervenciones se realizarán en doble horario: de 6:00 a. m. a 10:00 a. m. y de 4:00 p. m. a 8:00 p. m.
En Lancones se intervendrán los sectores del A.H. 9 de Octubre (4062 viviendas), El Alamor (447), A.H. Santa Teresita (4510 viviendas) y los seis sectores del A.H. El Obrero (5380); mientras que, en Tambogrande se fumigarán 10 879 viviendas pertenecientes a los 13 sectores del Centro Salud Comunidad Saludable, Buenos Aires, Palar Nores, Francisco Bolognesi, Manuel Seoane, Sánchez Cerro, 4 Noviembre, Pompi Bell y Urbanización Sullana y Salaverry.
El Minsa exhortó al líder del hogar permitir el ingreso del personal de salud a sus viviendas, a fin de realizar al 100% la actividad y tener éxito en la misma.
La fumigación es una acción que solo elimina al zancudo en su fase adulta. Previamente, el personal de Comunicaciones a través de las acciones de perifoneo, recomienda cerrar las ventanas y abrir las puertas, mantener las cortinas recogidas, despejar los ambientes donde se realizará la fumigación y cubrir los alimentos, depósitos de agua, y enseres.
La cocina y los artefactos eléctricos deberán apagarse para evitar accidentes. Durante la intervención, todos los integrantes de la familia y las mascotas deben salir del domicilio y permanecer fuera por al menos una hora.

Para resolver dudas sobre el dengue, el Minsa pone a disposición de la ciudadanía el servicio gratuito de información y orientación a través de la Línea 113, opción 1. También se puede acceder a este servicio mediante los aplicativos WhatsApp o Telegram a los números 952 842 623 y 955 557 000, así como a través del correo institucional inforsalud@minsa.gob.pe.
