Rosanna Ramos-Velita, presidenta del directorio de Los Andes, ha sido seleccionada entre las cinco finalistas latinoamericanas del prestigioso premio Women in Tech Global Awards LATAM 2025. La ejecutiva peruana fue nominada en la categoría Lifetime Achievement Award, que reconoce la trayectoria, liderazgo e impacto sostenido de mujeres destacadas en el ámbito tecnológico.
Esta nominación reconoce la trayectoria de Ramos-Velita, quien, desde su formación en ingeniería electrónica en Estados Unidos, ha desarrollado una carrera de más de 30 años en finanzas internacionales, emprendimiento y tecnología. Ha ocupado puestos de liderazgo en banca de consumo global, banca de inversión en América Latina, así como en diseño y desarrollo empresarial de microelectrónica. Entre los hitos de su trayectoria destaca haber sido, durante doce años, miembro del Directorio de Grameen Foundation en Washington D.C., organización internacional líder en microfinanzas fundada por Muhammad Yunus, Premio Nobel de la Paz. Asimismo, integró el Grupo Asesor de Financiamiento Innovador de Salud Global de la Fundación Bill y Melinda Gates.
Los Women in Tech Global Awards son organizados por Women in Tech Global, un movimiento internacional presente en más de 45 países que promueve la participación, liderazgo y desarrollo de las mujeres en ciencias, tecnología, ingeniería y matemáticas (STEM). La categoría Lifetime Achievement Award es la más prestigiosa del certamen.

La final regional Latinoamérica se realizará el 28 de agosto en Ciudad de Panamá, donde se anunciará la ganadora latinoamericana. La representante elegida avanzará a la ceremonia global que tendrá lugar en noviembre en París, Francia. En esta edición, Ramos-Velita comparte nominación con destacadas líderes de la región, como Mabel Torres, exministra de Ciencia, Tecnología e Innovación de Colombia, junto a otras importantes personalidades de Colombia, Ecuador y Perú.
