Más de 500 latas llenas de esperanza: así se vivió la Colecta Pública “Ponle Corazón” en todo el Perú
Más de 500 latas llenas. 14 carpas en todo el país. Más de 500 voluntarios. Este año, la Colecta Pública “Ponle Corazón” de la Fundación Peruana de Cáncer (FPC) se convirtió en un verdadero movimiento nacional de solidaridad por los pacientes con cáncer que luchan lejos de casa.
Durante la semana de colecta, se activaron 4 regiones: Lima, Arequipa, Trujillo y Chiclayo. Solo en la capital, se desplegaron carpas de recaudación en 6 distritos estratégicos, con la participación activa de 5 universidades, y con la colaboración especial de la repostera Alessandra Penny con sus famosos y deliciosos “cuchareables”.
La jornada no solo se midió en latas recolectadas, sino en historias de amor y compromiso. Como la de la señora Nelly, vecina de Huaycán, quien viajó a Lima y compartió: “Desde inicios de año y junto a mis vecinos, ahorramos de sol en sol, para venir a apoyar a los niños con cáncer que la Fundación atiende.”
Cada voluntario brindó un promedio de 5 horas de su tiempo en la colecta para tocar los corazones de más personas. Recibieron más de 5 horas de capacitación para garantizar una experiencia segura, organizada y con propósito.
“Cada sol, cada gesto, cada voluntario hizo posible esta jornada. Agradecemos profundamente a quienes pusieron el corazón y nos ayudaron a seguir acompañando a quienes más lo necesitan.”, señalaron voceros de la FPC. Sigamos sumando.
