SBN es premiada como ‘Socio Estratégico’ del Instituto Geofísico del Perú
- Al destacar la contribución de la entidad al desarrollo tecnológico y a la reducción del riesgo de desastres mediante la entrega de predios del Estado para el monitoreo de la costa peruana.
La Superintendencia Nacional de Bienes Estatales (SBN) recibió la Medalla Alberto Giesecke, en la Categoría Socio Estratégico, de parte del Instituto Geofísico del Perú (IGP) en reconocimiento a su valioso apoyo interinstitucional brindado durante los últimos años para fortalecer la difusión del conocimiento científico en ciencias y promover la cultura de prevención.
Asimismo, por contribuir al desarrollo tecnológico mediante la implementación de redes de monitoreo a lo largo de la costa peruana instaladas en predios del Estado cedidos para el cumplimiento de los objetivos institucionales.
Durante la ceremonia, el IGP destacó el aporte de la SBN para generar información científica que favorece la reducción del riesgo frente a sismos, movimientos de masa y procesos de licuación de suelos.
Esta distinción se entregó en la ceremonia de conmemoración por los 104 años de trayectoria científica y tecnológica del Instituto Geofísico del Perú (IGP), realizada en el Centro de Convenciones de Lima, en San Borja.
En el evento estuvo presente el Superintendente Nacional de Bienes Estatales, José Felisandro Mas Camus, quien recibió el premio de manos de la viceministra de Desarrollo Estratégico de los Recursos Naturales, Carmen Vegas.
