Melanie Tobal, primera argentina distinguida como Champion of Good en Cannes Lions
La publicista, directora creativa y emprendedora argentina Melanie Tobal fue distinguida como Champion of Good 2026 en la categoría Advertising Industry, premio otorgado por ACT Responsible durante el Festival de Cannes Lions. Tobal es la primera argentina en recibir este reconocimiento, que cada año premia a personas que generan un impacto positivo en la industria publicitaria y en la sociedad.
Con esta distinción, Tobal se suma a la lista de personalidades premiadas a lo largo de los años por ACT Responsible, entre ellas Malala Yousafzai, activista por la educación de las niñas y Premio Nobel de la Paz, y Sonita Alizadeh, activista de derechos humanos, música y autora. También integran esa lista nombres como Jodi Harris.
El premio reconoce los más de 15 años de trayectoria y dedicación de Tobal a impulsar cambios en favor de la diversidad e inclusión a través del activismo, la creatividad y la comunidad. Como pionera al ser la fundadora y presidenta de Publicitarias, como directora creativa en agencias de publicidad, como creadora de contenidos de impacto positivo (entre ellos el reconocido podcast Acabar, producción original de Spotify, número uno en tres países durante tres años consecutivos y con más de 3 millones de reproducciones) y como capacitadora, asesora, speaker y jurado en más de 300 compañías, festivales y eventos de todo el mundo.
Sobre el premio, Tobal expresó: “Me siento inmensamente feliz y honrada. Como todo premio, es un reconocimiento a lo logrado, pero también algo que abre la puerta a nuevas oportunidades. Oportunidades, en este caso, para las mujeres y diversidades, para LATAM y para Argentina. Un orgullo total representar a nuestro país entre tantos nombres enormes que han recibido este premio antes”.
