Fondo de Estímulo al Desempeño 2025-2026: Minsa y regiones articulan acuerdos para mejorar indicadores en salud pública
Se busca mejorar servicios esenciales como control prenatal, suplementación y tratamiento de anemia, acceso a partos seguros, entre otros.
El Ministerio de Salud (Minsa) reafirma su compromiso con el fortalecimiento de la gestión pública orientada a resultados y con la mejora continua de los servicios. Así lo informó el viceministro de Salud Pública, Leonardo Rojas, durante su participación en el segundo día de la Jornada Nacional de Negociación de Metas de Indicadores de Compromisos de Gestión y Cobertura del Fondo de Estímulo al Desempeño y Logro de Resultados Sociales (FED), correspondiente al ciclo operativo 2025–2026.
“Desde el Minsa reafirmamos nuestro compromiso de trabajar estrechamente con cada región y con todos los equipos técnicos. Nuestro objetivo es claro: asegurar servicios oportunos, integrales y de calidad, para avanzar hacia un país más justo, saludable y con igualdad de oportunidades para todas las personas”, sostuvo.
El evento, organizado por el Ministerio de Desarrollo e Inclusión Social (Midis), reúne durante 3 días a las 25 regiones del Perú para coordinar las metas de indicadores en salud, educación, agua, reducción de violencia contra la mujer y articulación territorial.
Para el nuevo ciclo 2025-2026, se negociarán 28 indicadores (12 de salud, 7 de educación, 6 de agua, 2 de reducción de violencia contra la mujer y 1 de articulación territorial), con una asignación inicial de hasta S/77 millones.
En el sector Salud los indicadores están relacionados a control prenatal temprano, suplementación y tratamiento de anemia, acceso a parto institucional seguro, tamizaje frente a la violencia y la provisión de paquete integral de servicios de salud.
“El FED es un mecanismo creado en el 2014 y constituye una herramienta importante para mejorar la cobertura en intervenciones esenciales en salud pública (…) Esta negociación de indicadores también promueve la transparencia y orienta el uso eficiente de los recursos públicos en beneficio de la población”, señaló el viceministro.
Leonardo Rojas explicó que, desde el 2014, el país ha logrado avances importantes. Por ejemplo, el consumo de suplemento de hierro en niños y niñas menores de 36 meses aumentó del 24 % al 33.8 % hasta el año pasado; la cobertura de vacunas en menores de 1 año pasó del 50 % al 71 %, y la atención integral de Control de Crecimiento y Desarrollo (CRED) subió de casi 12 % al 29 %, entre otros logros.
“Estos progresos muestran que los incentivos bien diseñados sí generan impactos, especialmente cuando se articulan con las prioridades nacionales del desarrollo infantil temprano y la reducción de la violencia contra la mujer”, añadió.
