Bomberos capacitan a lideresas de ollas comunes en SJL sobre uso seguro del balón de gas
- Esta iniciativa fortaleció los conocimientos de mujeres líderes comunitarias en prevención de accidentes, primeros auxilios y manejo responsable del gas doméstico.
Decenas de lideresas de 30 ollas comunes del distrito de San Juan de Lurigancho participaron en una jornada de capacitación realizada por la Compañía de Bomberos San Juan de Lurigancho 121, con el objetivo de promover prácticas seguras en el uso del balón de gas y reforzar la prevención ante posibles emergencias domésticas.
Durante la capacitación, los bomberos brindaron recomendaciones sobre qué hacer ante casos de emergencia como fugas de gas y primeros auxilios, junto con un especialista en seguridad de Limagas, quien explicó las buenas prácticas para el manejo seguro del balón de gas y cómo identificar un cilindro original y seguro.
“Estas capacitaciones fueron muy útiles para nosotras. Aprendimos cómo revisar el balón, qué hacer si hay una fuga y cómo reaccionar sin ponernos en riesgo. Ahora nos sentimos más seguras y preparadas para proteger a nuestras familias y compartir lo aprendido con nuestras vecinas”, expresó Carmen Granado, lideresa de la olla común Mujeres Unidas.
La iniciativa formó parte de la campaña “Tu Seguridad No Tiene Precio”, impulsada por Limagas, empresa que promueve la concientización de la ciudadanía sobre el peligro que representa para las familias peruanas el adquirir balones de gas adulterados.
“En Limagas creemos que la seguridad comienza con la información. Capacitar a lideresas de ollas comunes es una forma de multiplicar el conocimiento en sus comunidades. Ellas son agentes de cambio, y empoderarlas con herramientas prácticas nos permite construir hogares más seguros. Recordemos que tu seguridad no tiene precio”, destacó Ignacio Schneider, gerente general de Limagas GLP.
Esta acción se sumó a la iniciativa “Energía que cuida”, mediante la cual Limagas y Cáritas del Perú vienen donando 1,080 balones de gas al año a ollas comunes de San Juan de Lurigancho, beneficiando a cientos de familias que reciben casi dos mil raciones diarias de comida. De esta manera, se refuerza el compromiso de promover la seguridad, la sostenibilidad y el bienestar en las comunidades más vulnerables del país.
