Exposición “Lecturas Barrocas, Narrativas Mestizas” de Lina Buso, donde el pasado y el presente se entrelazan
Marissi Campos Galería presenta la exposición individual “Lecturas Barrocas, Narrativas Mestizas” de la destacada artista peruana Lina Buso. La muestra se inaugurará el 12 de noviembre a las 7:00 p.m. en la prestigiosa Sala 770 de la Municipalidad de Miraflores y contará con la colaboración de Agua Andea.
Lina Buso propone una inmersión en su poética visual, desafiando las nociones lineales de la historia del arte. Con “Lecturas Barrocas, Narrativas Mestizas,” la artista demuestra que en su obra, “el pasado y el presente no se enfrentan: se entrelazan.”
Buso, formada entre Lima y Santiago, utiliza la estética recargada del barroco —sus pliegues, contrastes y excesos, no solo como una herencia estilística, sino como una estrategia contemporánea y crítica para repensar la complejidad de la identidad latinoamericana.
Sus pinturas, meticulosas y exuberantes, reescriben los códigos de la imaginería colonial y la pintura religiosa para situarlos en un territorio propio, mestizo e híbrido. En este universo visual, la devoción convive con la ironía, lo europeo y lo andino se cruzan sin jerarquías, y el mestizaje se manifiesta como una forma de mirar el mundo.
La artista genera una poética que celebra el exceso y la multiplicidad, poniendo el barroco a dialogar con elementos de la cultura popular: el color de los mercados, el brillo de los afiches populares y los íconos del kitsch y la religiosidad popular.
La muestra también incluye su serie de globos metálicos, la producción más pop de Buso, donde la síntesis de la imagen se utiliza como un mensaje directo y semiótico para cuestionar los discursos de poder y representación en el arte actual.
La exposición se podrá visitar del 12 al 30 de noviembre en la Sala 770 (Avenida José Larco 770, Miraflores), de lunes a domingo, 9:00 am a 9:00 pm. El ingreso es libre.
Marissi Campos Galería es un espacio itinerante dedicado a difundir el arte contemporáneo latinoamericano en escenarios no tradicionales. Su misión es democratizar el acceso al arte y fomentar el coleccionismo en la región, creando nuevos diálogos entre los artistas y las audiencias.
