Villa María del Triunfo: ministro Luis Quiroz supervisó el Centro Materno Infantil “José Carlos Mariátegui”
Anunció elaboración de proyecto de inversión para que centro se convierta en hospital con nueva construcción
El ministro de Salud, Luis Quiroz Avilés, supervisó el Centro Materno Infantil (CMI) “José Carlos Mariátegui”, ubicado en el distrito de Villa María del Triunfo, a fin de verificar la atención, equipamiento y los servicios que se brindan a la población de Lima sur.
También revisó el stock de medicamentos, la disponibilidad de citas y la atención en el área de Emergencia, donde conversó con pacientes y familiares sobre la calidad de la atención que están recibiendo.
Esta visita se realiza en el marco de las disposiciones del presidente la república, José Jerí Oré. “Estamos visitando los diferentes establecimientos de salud, con el objetivo de conocer in situ los requerimientos de los centros del país y así para progresivamente ir mejorando. Los demás ministros también están participando de esta iniciativa”, dijo el titular del Minsa.
Además, resaltó que el centro de salud cuenta con mamógrafo entregado por Ministerio de Salud, el cual permite realizar diagnósticos tempranos de cáncer de mama. “Esto como parte de los lineamientos del sector orientados a la prevención y la lucha contra este tipo de cáncer, que es uno de los que más afecta a la población femenina en nuestro país”.
Durante el recorrido, también detalló que se realizan diferentes cirugías gíneco-obstétricas y no solo cesáreas, Asimismo, visitó a pacientes que se encontraban en trabajo de parto y otras que ya habían dado a luz, verificando la vacunación de los bebés dentro de las 24 horas de su nacimiento.
“Hemos visto que están haciendo el mejor de los esfuerzos para aumentar las coberturas de vacunación, tanto en niños como en adultos, porque las inmunizaciones son fundamentales para prevenir enfermedades”, comentó Quiroz Avilés
PROYECTO DE INVERSIÓN PARA CONSTRUCCIÓN DE UN HOSPITAL
Ante la alta demanda en Lima sur, el ministro de Salud señaló que este centro de salud cuenta con un terreno anexo de más de 5000 m². “Aspiramos a tener un hospital nivel II, que pueda cubrir las expectativas de la población de esta zona de Lima Metropolitana y que también contribuya a reducir el congestionamiento en el Hospital María Auxiliadora, para lo cual se verá de agilizar un proyecto de inversión para el respectivo financiamiento”, indicó.
